Dear Touchstone and esp. Chris and others who helped me through a tough situation: Case #35487
Since I relocated 2 years+ ago, I have been trying to secure a full-time position with benefits without success. This is difficult and of course has resulted in financial difficulties, there are goods and services we cannot afford to purchase, and you sure do not feel great about the situation. We had to purchase benefits through my husband's work at $1200/month. It was impossible to make ends meet without utilizing a good portion of my retirement annuity. When I became eligible for my state retirement January 9th we decided to go ahead but I was unable to claim military service credit due to not having a complete set of separation papers. I am up against a very tight deadline of January 31st to qualify for February 1 retirement date. In 3 days your excellent company provided service that months of writing letters and sending faxes could not secure. Thank you so much. I will make the deadline and it was delightful to work with you.
